Description

You will design, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions across multi-platform environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer data restore, disaster recovery, and backup processes for clients and servers.
• Perform storage analysis, capacity planning, and performance planning for storage components.
• Automate backup and restoration workflows to optimize system performance.
• Execute routine equipment checks, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for backup and storage issues.
• Manage regular patching, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure compliance with IT security standards and policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backup administration and support.
• Proficiency in Veritas NetBackup and Dell Data Domain.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure Backup.
• Experience managing Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
• Technical expertise with Networker, Tape Library, and NDMP.
• Proven ability to automate backup and restoration tasks.
• Practical experience in an ITIL-based environment.
