Description

You will design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and business teams to ensure data protection, recoverability, and compliance.
• Administer, install, configure, and maintain backup and storage systems, including CommVault, Commvault Cloud, Auto-Recovery (DR), M365 Protection, Azure AD Protection, and AGP.
• Create CommVault backup jobs for Linux, UNIX, and Windows hosts and manage NAS using NDMP.
• Oversee data backup and recovery support across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and IBM Cloud, planning upgrades and monitoring health.
• Analyze reported issues, recommend system architecture changes, and test applications post-change with customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backup and recovery architecture.
• Expertise with CommVault and Commvault Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and OCI.
• Proficiency with Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Experience managing databases such as DB2, SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with storage technologies including Dell/EMC, IBM, NetApp, and Pure Storage.
• Knowledge of Python scripting.
