Lead testing and business analysis for a critical in-house healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Assess requirement testability and develop test cases from Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests for web applications and EDI systems.
• Develop and execute test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI transactions, including 837I, 837P, 839, and NCPDP D.0.
• Manage user acceptance testing with end users, report test results, and manage defects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience assessing requirement testability and developing test cases.
• 5+ years of experience executing functional, integration, and regression tests.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare claims processing testing.
• 3+ years of experience testing web applications and reporting test results.
• 2+ years of experience with X12 EDI transactions (837i, 839, NCPDP D.0).
• 2+ years of experience conducting QA on EDI applications.
• 2+ years of experience developing SQL queries.
• 2+ years of experience writing Business and QA documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test and Defect Management Tools such as HP ALM or Jira.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
