Key Skills: Business Intelligence (Bi), Pyspark

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design effective, user-friendly, interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI using strong data interpretation and visualization practices.
• Develop and optimize SQL and T-SQL for ETL, data modeling, KPI logic, and performance optimization; ensure accurate and consistent reporting outputs.
• Build and maintain Databricks end-to-end data engineering workflows (workspace, notebooks, jobs) using Delta Lake concepts and Databricks SQL.
• Implement distributed data processing with PySpark and support data transformations, data validation, and anomaly/KPI variance analysis.
• Use GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot/ChatGPT/LLM tools) to write and optimize SQL/DAX measures, generate transformations, draft documentation (BRD/FSD/summaries), and create test datasets; support prompt engineering to convert business requirements into BI logic.

Skills Required:

• 4-8 years of experience in Analytics/BI (5-8 years preferred for this role).
• Business Intelligence (BI) and strong end-to-end reporting/data interpretation experience.
• Power BI for dashboard development, data modeling, and report performance tuning.
• Databricks and Databricks SQL for building reliable data pipelines and query logic.
• T-SQL/SQL and Python for ETL, data transformations, troubleshooting, and automation; ability to model data and understand complete data flow from database to Power BI.

Good to Have:

• Tableau for additional visualization needs.
• GenAI tool exposure for NLP querying (e.g., Databricks Genie or similar) and faster notebook development.
• Banking domain knowledge.

Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative degree
