Description

You will design, develop, and support enterprise Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure SQL Database, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake. You will own the full lifecycle of BI deliverables, from gathering business requirements and building semantic models to deploying interactive dashboards and ensuring data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize semantic models, dimensional data models, and enterprise reporting datasets using Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data integration processes using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric Dataflows, and Informatica IICS.
• Administer the Power BI Service environment, managing workspaces, gateways, security roles, deployment pipelines, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable BI solutions, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights.
• Lead, mentor, and support BI developers and analysts while managing project execution and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development and data analytics.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX, semantic modeling, and deployment pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake.
• Proficiency in SQL development, query optimization, and database design in SQL Server and cloud platforms.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica IICS, or Fabric Dataflows.
• Knowledge of modern data architecture concepts, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance.
• Familiarity with SAP, Tableau, Python, and Spark is required.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI-driven analytics, Copilot capabilities, and self-service BI enablement strategies.
