Roles and Responsibilities:

• Establish, onboard, and set up a new local BI team, including recruiting, training, and implementing processes and tools for effective virtual collaboration.
• Oversee and coordinate all BI team activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define BI strategy and priorities aligned with business objectives.
• Drive optimization of BI tools and platforms, including Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Tableau.
• Drive adoption of best practices for data modeling, ETL processes, and visualization across the team.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate BI insights to non-technical audiences.
• Monitor data quality, security, and compliance standards.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience in BI or data analytics leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Tableau, and other BI technologies.
• Strong understanding of data architectures, data modeling, and data warehousing, with expertise in designing scalable solutions.
• Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD, and Agile delivery (e.g., Jira) in a BI/analytics environment.
• Proven track record of implementing and improving BI processes and workflows.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage across organizational levels and distributed teams, including across time zones.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, onboard, and mentor new team members, particularly in a local context.
• Ability to nurture a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, including working closely with business units to identify needs and deliver valuable insights.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Adaptability to rapidly evolving technologies, tools, and business requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, estimate work, and deliver incrementally while maintaining reliability.

Good to Have

• Experience with enterprise communications business data.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or SAP BW.
• Familiarity with Alteryx and Tableau Server Administration.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, System Analysis, or a related field
