Description

You will design and oversee large-scale data architecture solutions for complex engineering programs.

Responsibilities

• Construct and plan end-to-end data architectures across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Lead program-level data architecture solutions and guide engineering teams on specific projects.
• Conduct strategic data discovery to inform technical direction and system design.
• Communicate complex data architecture concepts to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Manage large-scale data programs, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data-focused roles, including a proven background as a Data Architect.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery and Bigtable.
• Strong proficiency with Big Data frameworks, including Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with MapR and Elasticsearch for data storage and search.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Proven ability to work in OnPrem environments alongside cloud infrastructure.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale programs and cross-functional projects.
• Background in strategic technical planning and stakeholder management.
