Description

You will design, develop, and maintain distributed data applications and services using Enterprise Python and cloud-native technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable software components using Python, Spark, and Kafka.
• Design and implement SOA services, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.
• Develop proofs of concept for new product designs and data implementations.
• Optimize applications for cost, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Mentor team members and document detailed software specifications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Python and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in PySpark and Spark for batch and streaming analytics.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database modeling.
• Experience building microservices and working with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Angular or React.js for web interfaces.
• Knowledge of software security practices including authentication and data validation.
• Experience working within Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Big Data, Python, Spark, or Cloud technologies.
• Experience with Databricks or AWS services like Redshift, RDS, or Glue.
