Description

You will design and manage large-scale data processing systems within the banking and finance domain.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using SSIS, Spark, and SQL stored procedures.
• Build and manage data workflows using Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Implement scalable solutions to handle increasing data volumes using big data and cloud technologies.
• Write complex SQL queries for deep data analysis.
• Utilize Tableau for business intelligence reporting.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in Apache Spark and big data technologies including Hadoop and Kafka.
• Proficiency in Java or Scala.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational database management systems like SQL Server or Snowflake.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines with SSIS.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau.
• Prior experience working within the Banking & Finance sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
