Description

You will lead the development of large-scale big data applications and data processing frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of big data solutions, including Data Lakes and EDW architectures.
• Build and maintain data applications using Azure cloud stacks.
• Tune big data solutions and cluster performance for scalability.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high software engineering quality.
• Manage production rollouts and infrastructure configuration.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience building large-scale big data applications.
• Expertise in Java, including OOPs concepts and multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark and Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
• Experience with Azure cloud data stacks.
• Knowledge of cluster and parallel architecture.
• Experience with high-scale or distributed RDBMS.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects using Kafka and Spark.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, or Elastic Search.
• Knowledge of Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and modeling unstructured data.
• Experience in the Banking or Financial domain.
