Description

Senior BIM Technician responsible for creating 3D building models and 2D documentation for municipal, water, and wastewater projects. You will resolve design conflicts and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D building models and generate 2D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Collaborate with Municipal, Water, and Wastewater engineers to design and plan construction projects.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts and complex technical issues during the modeling process.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project lifecycles, including task prioritization, deadline management, and site inspections.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in BIM or related engineering fields.
• Proficiency in BIM software, specifically AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of industry standards and building codes relevant to municipal infrastructure.
• Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
