Description

Support Power BI and SQL development, performance, and documentation for the Data Quality Enhancement initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform database tuning.
• Collaborate with Data Office, Business, and IT stakeholders to meet project deliverables.
• Manage daily workloads independently while adhering to data security policies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• 5+ years of SQL Server development, including complex queries and stored procedures.
• 5+ years of experience writing complex DAX queries.
• 3+ years of MS SQL Server data modeling and schema design.
• 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment.
• 5+ years of experience in Pensions Benefit Management programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA, two days per week.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Tableau or QlikView.
• 2+ years of experience with Python or R.
• 2+ years of familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
