Description

You will manage and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant database systems and data warehouse environments for the BizOps team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and develop DB2, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake data warehouse environments.
• Manage database services within cloud PaaS environments.
• Support 24/7 infrastructure through participation in on-call shifts.
• Implement security protocols including database encryption, masking, certificates, PKI, SSH, and VPN.
• Apply problem analysis methodologies to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DB2 or PostgreSQL database administration.
• 2+ years of experience in Snowflake data warehouse administration and development.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab or Bitbucket.
• Practical experience managing cloud PaaS database services.
• Deep understanding of high availability and fault-tolerant system design.
• Strong security knowledge covering encryption, masking, and PKI.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
