Description

You will own the full lifecycle of services, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance deployment automation using Chef, including writing recipes and cookbooks.
• Orchestrate application releases and integrate tools like Sonar, Maven, and Artifactory to build the CI/CD pipeline.
• Design and implement a Git-based code management strategy for parallel environment deployments.
• Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback loops to development teams on operational gaps.
• Support services pre-launch through capacity planning and system design consulting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in industry-standard CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins, Maven, and Artifactory.
• Proven experience writing Chef recipes and cookbooks for release and deployment processes.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud-based architecture, preferably Azure and PCF.
• Strong programming skills in Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with WebServices (SOAP/REST) and API design.
• Proficiency in Git/BitBucket, Sonar, and Groovy scripting.
• Ability to debug and optimize code, with a focus on automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Background in Agile development environments and large-scale distributed systems.
