You will translate business objectives into functional requirements and technical specifications to drive solution recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, data mappings, and system scope documentation.
• Analyze current business processes and design new workflows using process flows, activity diagrams, and swim lanes.
• Partner with technical leads to guide the development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Define reporting KPIs and metrics by analyzing data trends and working with technical teams on report development.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test plans, test cases, and managing quality assurance work.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in business analysis.
• Expertise in business analysis methodologies.
• Proficiency with Tableau and Cognos for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience documenting data dictionaries and tracing functional data items to originating sources.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret Texas Vital Statistics laws, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities in ambiguous environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams of analysts and mentor junior staff.
