Description

Analyze and interpret HL7 immunization message data to support state immunization information systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret HL7 immunization message data for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data quality reviews and validate immunization messages against established standards.
• Provide technical guidance and onboarding support to provider organizations using EHR systems.
• Maintain and enhance ACCESS programs for data reporting and interoperability.
• Support integration between NYSIIS and external EHR systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and SQL TOAD.
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• 5+ years of experience with messaging standards such as XML and X12.
• 5+ years of experience with HL7 messaging in a healthcare or immunization context.
• 5+ years of experience performing data quality analysis related to immunization data.
• 5+ years of experience providing technical or clinical customer support.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with state-level immunization information systems.
