Description

Lead business process analysis and re-engineering for complex tax accounting systems, managing requirements, design, testing, and data conversion.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document detailed business requirements and functional system design documents.
• Manage the testing and implementation phases of the development life cycle.
• Execute data conversion processes to move information between disparate formats.
• Support technical design, development, and maintenance of government taxation systems.
• Provide end-user support for financial and real property tax systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of business process analysis and re-engineering experience.
• 5 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• 5 years of experience preparing functional and detailed system design documents.
• 5 years of experience working with databases including DB2, Sybase, and SQL.
• 4 years of experience with the testing and implementation phases of the development life cycle.
• 4 years of experience with government taxation organizations and complex tax accounting systems.
• 4 years of experience working with financial systems.
• 2 years of experience converting computer data from one format to another.
• 1 year of experience with Real Property Tax, including valuation, assessments, and exemptions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM technologies and database management.
