Description

You will provide business analysis and support for Medicaid Technology Modernization efforts in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Analyze program policies and processes to determine impacts on business systems.
• Translate operational requirements between state staff and vendors.
• Write User Stories with Acceptance Criteria using Agile methodology.
• Develop test scenarios, use cases, and exit criteria to ensure mapping to requirements.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report status to management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software.
• Ability to review system, data, and project deliverables, including design documentation and risk assessment plans.
• Strong ability to communicate requirements to both technical staff and program stakeholders.
• Experience conducting systems and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ability to manage schedules for deliverables and document action items.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Medicaid or healthcare technology modernization.
