Description

You will lead the data migration from a Cobalt mainframe to a modern SaaS financial solution.

Responsibilities

• Lead data migration efforts ensuring accuracy of financial, billing, and tax data.
• Analyze existing processes to identify gaps and propose optimized SaaS integration solutions.
• Document business and technical requirements, including data mapping, transformation rules, and workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to design, test, and deploy the migration.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, including UAT and post-implementation reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience with local government agencies and public sector processes.
• Proven experience leading large-scale data migrations from mainframe environments.
• Strong analytical skills for requirements elicitation, process diagramming, and data transformation.
• Understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and SQL queries.
• Experience implementing SaaS solutions, specifically financial or billing systems.
• Familiarity with Cobalt mainframe systems, data structures, and workflows.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or Workday Financials.
