Description

You will own the process of defining and documenting business requirements for technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Process intake funnel items and support request prioritization by documenting value statements (ROI, Regulatory, Security, Shaw Brand reputation, CX impact, Front Line impact, Prevent Loss of revenue).
• Identify requirements and document deliverables, creating stories/JIRA Cards, BRDs, FRDs, and process documentation/maps.
• Define acceptance criteria and review them with stakeholders.
• Maintain a functional understanding of design and requirements while supporting business through shifting priorities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of working experience.
• Proficiency in Jira.
• Experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
• Experience writing Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
• Ability to acquire and apply deep knowledge of the business domain.
• Experience defining and modifying domain processes.
• Skills in critical thinking and problem-solving to negotiate solutions.
