Description

You will support healthcare operations by analyzing and resolving issues impacting patient care, regulatory compliance, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional work groups involving clinical, operational, quality, compliance, and administrative stakeholders to address operational issues.
• Facilitate root cause analysis, risk assessment, and action planning to drive operational improvements.
• Plan, coordinate, and track tasks, milestones, and deliverables required to resolve identified issues.
• Analyze operational, quality, and performance data to identify trends and emerging risks.
• Develop and deliver status updates, dashboards, and reports for management and executive leadership.
• Maintain issue logs and documentation to ensure accountability and traceability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a healthcare business analyst, operations analyst, or in a similar role.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage and health plan operations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a healthcare environment without direct authority.
• Strong analytical skills applied to healthcare operational, quality, or performance data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex information to executive leadership.
• Experience with issue tracking, action planning, and performance reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple operational issues simultaneously in a complex, regulated environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with healthcare regulatory, accreditation, or quality frameworks such as CMS or Joint Commission.
• Background in performance improvement, root cause analysis, or customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Experience working within hospitals, health systems, payer organizations, or large healthcare networks.
