Description

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience as a Senior/Lead Business Analyst leading business requirements gathering, process elicitation, stakeholder workshops, interviews, and surveys.
  • Extensive experience working with clinical stakeholders (Family Physicians, Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, governing bodies) and non-clinical stakeholders (HIM SMEs, administrative teams, management, and executives).
  • 10+ years of experience delivering business analysis services for large, complex, multi-organization transformation projects.
  • 10+ years of IM/IT industry experience.
  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience including test strategy, test planning, and testing coordination.
  • Strong experience in healthcare/eHealth environments within Canadian jurisdictions.
  • Expertise in business and technical documentation including BRDs, functional specifications, workflows, BPMN diagrams, gap analysis, and decision documents.
  • Experience developing QA strategies, test cases, test data, UAT, integration testing, and test reporting.
  • Experience creating end-user onboarding and training documentation including user guides and training manuals.
  • Experience supporting project-to-operations transition activities and operational framework documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, Visio, BPMN, and ALM/Quality Center.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare privacy, security, and data confidentiality regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities including requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, interviews, and surveys.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders to define business and system requirements.
  • Analyze and document current and future state business processes, workflows, and transformation initiatives.
  • Create detailed business and technical documentation including functional requirements, process maps, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis reports.
  • Develop and support QA strategies, test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect management across system, integration, and UAT phases.
  • Support onboarding, training, and operational transition activities by creating user manuals, SOPs, training guides, and operational support documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between business, technical, and vendor teams across multiple organizations and project streams.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy, security, and confidentiality standards.
  • Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies while coordinating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
