Description

You will own the analysis and definition of complex requirements for Medicaid initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering and design meetings with customers regarding STRs, enhancements, and PAQ needs.
• Lead requirements definition for complex Medicaid areas including eligibility, enrolment, claims, and benefits.
• Analyze impacts of CMS and state policy changes by partnering with program leadership.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, issues, and resolutions.
• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and secure sign-off.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 8 years experience in customer relations, interface development, and policy implementation with direct Medicaid experience.
• Extensive experience gathering business and functional user requirements and documenting them in formalized documents.
• Solid understanding of all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
• Ability to independently lead customer discussions, facilitate decisions, and actively listen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Experience maintaining reference files and rules authoring within a Rules Management Application (RMA).

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated ability to relay information clearly between technical and non-technical staff.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent IT field; demonstrable experience may substitute for degree.
