Description

You will lead business analysis and requirements oversight for the Medicaid Enterprise Systems team, supporting the transition from a monolithic system to a modular Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Responsibilities

• Review and approve program, project, and software artifacts developed by multiple vendors.
• Verify that vendor solutions and contract requirements are met through rigorous monitoring.
• Collaborate with business areas, vendors, and the PMO to ensure stakeholder understanding of proposed solutions.
• Track artifacts, issues, and action items while producing meeting minutes and reporting project variances.
• Assist with CMS reporting and certification processes, ensuring compliance with federal standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in business analysis and requirements oversight.
• Deep understanding of all phases of the project management and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience monitoring contracts for development, configuration, and operational activities.
• Ability to work within multiple software development methodologies and configuration activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process design skills.
• Proficiency with Visio, MS Project, Office 365, and Webex/Teams.
• Experience managing complexity and working across functions to meet large-scale goals.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a multi-vendor environment.
• Knowledge of federal standards including MITA, CMS Seven Conditions and Standards, OBC, 21st Century Cures Act, and HITECH Act.
