Senior-level experience in a Business Analyst or equivalent role, with a track record of delivering requirements documentation on complex technology programs
Demonstrated experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions with diverse stakeholder groups including business users, technical teams, and leadership
Strong proficiency in producing the following document types:
Business and functional requirements documents
User stories with acceptance criteria
Current and future state process maps and swim lane diagrams
Use case documentation
Traceability matrices
Experience working on enterprise software, portal, or data platform projects
Familiarity with Agile and iterative delivery methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Scope of Responsibilities
Planning, scheduling, and facilitating structured working sessions with ConEdison business and technical stakeholders to elicit, validate, and refine requirements
Developing and distributing session agendas, pre-read materials, and working drafts ahead of each meeting
Capturing decisions, action items, and open issues in real time during sessions and distributing written summaries within 24 hours
Maintaining a shared decisions and open items log accessible to all ConEdison stakeholders throughout the engagement
Documentation & artifact production
Producing clear, complete, and well-structured requirements documentation across all functional areas of BEUP 3.0
Writing user stories in standard format with acceptance criteria aligned to the ConEdison delivery methodology
Developing current and future state process maps and swim lane diagrams that accurately reflect user workflows and system interactions
Maintaining a traceability matrix linking user stories and requirements back to business objectives and future state goals
Ensuring all documentation is version-controlled, consistently formatted, and accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Updating documentation iteratively based on working session feedback, with clear version histories
Cross-functional collaboration
Working closely with the Solution/Technical Architect to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in technical designs
Partnering with the Data Development Lead to document data-related requirements, including data inputs, outputs, quality expectations, and reporting needs
Collaborating with ConEdison's IT Business Service Delivery and Customer Energy Solutions teams to validate that documented requirements reflect real operational needs and user workflows
