Description

You will own end-to-end business requirements for payments and cash management initiatives, translating business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and workflows. You serve as the subject matter expert for payment processing flows, including initiation, authorization, and clearing across channels and payment engines.

Responsibilities

• Define and document business processes, workflows, and integration points for upstream and downstream systems.
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to refine, prioritize, and support testing and release activities.
• Conduct UAT, creating test scenarios and data to validate requirements and ensure system integrity.
• Analyze payment transaction flows, including fraud, risk, and sanction screening mechanisms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in banking applications, specifically payments middleware and cash management.
• Deep understanding of payment initiation, authorization, and processing flows.
• Knowledge of ACH, FED payments, Wires, Zelle B2C, EFT, Real-time payments, and SWIFT.
• Familiarity with payment hub solutions and banking servicing products (FISERV/FIS).
• Proficiency in messaging formats such as NACHA, ISO20022, and MTxxx.
• Strong communication skills to articulate requirements to diverse technical and business audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with payment engines: Dovetail, ACI-MTS, PEP+, GPP, TCS BANCS, or Finacle.
