Description

You will act as the senior lead bridging accounting requirements with IT development projects in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and design solutions by working directly with cross-functional client teams.
• Review user business processes and use cases to create workflows and functional designs throughout the SDLC.
• Guide the delivery team on functionality, system integrations, UI/UX, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with business users to prepare User Acceptance Test (UAT) cases and facilitate the UAT process.
• Manage onsite discovery, requirements gathering, and functional design phases.

Required Skills

• 12 to 15 years of overall professional experience.
• 10+ years in IT Solutions/Services with deep accounting knowledge.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Extensive domain experience in mortgage, banking, or finance.
• Proven experience working independently on IT development projects.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of Agile and iterative software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Business Analysis and the SDLC.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience customizing enterprise applications for the Insurance domain.
• Knowledge of US Mortgage Insurance Servicing.
• Industry consulting experience.
