Lead requirements gathering, process design, and technical specification for financial services projects in Toronto.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, capture user stories, prototype solutions, and define acceptance criteria using Behavioral Driven Development.
• Analyze as-is business processes to identify gaps, design to-be processes, and perform impact and feasibility analysis.
• Create and review specifications, data flow diagrams, and UI/UX designs to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
• Manage best practices within the development lifecycle and ensure technology decisions align with business client needs.
• Produce quality deliverables, manage status reporting, and drive resolution of blockers and dependencies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Scrum Master.
• Strong SQL and data analytics skills for data-driven decision making.
• Experience writing technical requirements and creating data flow diagrams.
• Proven ability to work independently, lead workflow design sessions, and manage customer expectations.
• Experience working in the financial services industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an assertive approach to following up on issues.
• Ability to commute to the Toronto office 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scrum Master methodologies.
• Background in UI/UX design review.
