You will define and document business requirements while coordinating BA activities across IT projects in the healthcare domain.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate business analyst team duties and activities across IT projects.
• Facilitate client meetings to gather and document requirements and explore solutions.
• Create test scenarios and develop test plans to verify client requirements in system design.
• Analyze testing results throughout the project and approve requirement validation.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to business processes to meet client technology goals.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in Health Care/Health Insurance.
• Strong background in Medicaid, including claim processing using Institutional and Physician claim forms.
• Knowledge of Prior Authorization, Member, Provider, Long-Term Care, and Inpatient/Outpatient concepts.
• Experience with project and change management tools such as ALM and iTrace/rTrace.
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and waterfall methodology.
• Experience creating deliverable documentation, user manuals, and training documentation.
• Experience implementing benefit plan configuration updates in Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).
• Proficiency in using basic analytical or relational database software like Excel or SQL.
