Description

You will drive the migration of invoicing and discounting capabilities from legacy stacks to a new cloud-enabled post-trade platform. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Shape and refine the migration sequence at the client, desk, and asset class level across multiple trading regions.
• Lead requirements gathering workshops and define business processes with key stakeholders.
• Translate high-level functional requirements into granular JIRA stories that meet the Definition of Ready.
• Document current and target state data and process flows within JIRA.
• Support testing phases including SIT and UAT, and facilitate end-user training.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in Financial Services Technology.
• Proven experience with Big Data migrations, data integration, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle, including trading, middle/back-office, and reference data.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and understanding upstream/downstream data requirements.
• Experience using Python or equivalent tooling for big data analysis to identify requirements.
• Ability to perform UML modelling for functional workflows and requirements.
• Highly proficient in Excel, including the use of pivot tables to reconcile large data extracts.
• Solid understanding of high-level architecture and technical designs.
• Experience operating within an Agile delivery environment.

Preferred Skills

• Peer review experience to ensure quality within the business line.
