Description

You will own the documentation lifecycle for Departmental Information Technology systems, supporting user guides, CMS certification, enterprise architecture, and procurement RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Collect documentation requirements from business and technical staff.
• Plan, design, research, write, and edit user guides, manuals, statements of work, training materials, policies, and proposals.
• Collaborate with technical teams to consolidate and interpret complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Edit documentation from IT staff to ensure a unified and consistent voice.
• Coordinate with various teams to gather, analyze, and finalize information for stakeholder groups.

Required Skills

• 7+ years documenting system documentation, requirements, and release notes.
• 7+ years documenting status reports, SOPs, policies, and CMS documentation related to MMIS Certification.
• 7+ years documenting communications, minutes, agendas, and presentations for stakeholder groups.
• 3+ years translating technical information into clear documents for technical and non-technical personnel.
• 7+ years of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 7+ years of experience using Jira.
• 2+ years of experience using SharePoint.
• 2+ years of experience using Visio.
• Ability to manage highly complex work efforts and work without assistance.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodology.
• 2+ years of State Government experience.
