Translate business needs into technical requirements for system analysis, documentation, and enhancement.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business objectives and user requirements to identify automation and system improvement opportunities.
• Write Epic and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development and QA teams.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries, business requirement documents, and data mapping specifications.
• Design and present visual data models and dashboards to communicate trends and performance metrics.
• Lead workshops and interviews to gather insights, resolve data issues, and align technical solutions with business goals.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Data Analyst in the IT industry.
• 10+ years of experience designing and optimizing data workflows using modeling or mapping tools.
• 8+ years of experience creating and maintaining data-related documentation.
• Expertise in Data Analysis, Data Mapping, and Data Modeling.
• Proven ability to write Epic and User Stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
• Experience conducting feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses of proposed solutions.
• Proficiency working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
