Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst to lead the design and delivery of advanced analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making. This individual will develop robust data models, datasets, and dashboards, while mentoring team members and promoting data-driven best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on data expert and a trusted business partner who can translate complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Insights

• Design, build, and optimize data models and interactive dashboards in Tableau to support executive and operational decisions.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of large datasets to uncover business trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Translate findings into clear, impactful insights for senior leadership.
• Ensure BI initiatives align with overall business strategy and objectives.

Data Management & Optimization

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data, primarily from Snowflake.
• Oversee data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure integrity, scalability, and efficiency.
• Serve as a Snowflake subject matter expert, guiding the use of the platform for enterprise analytics.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with business units to define KPIs and deliver BI solutions that address key challenges.
• Act as a strategic advisor to executives, providing actionable, data-backed recommendations.
• Mentor junior analysts, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytics, working with large and complex datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Development
• Experience with Salesforce reporting and CRM Analytics.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical insights to executive audiences.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail.

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
• Background in insurance, financial services, or another highly data-centric industry.
• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Expertise in data storytelling and visualization best practices
