Description

Lead the development of business intelligence reports and analytical solutions while mentoring team members through complex troubleshooting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development of BI reports and provide guidance to the analysis team.
• Manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, subscriptions, and metadata.
• Collaborate with Data Warehouse Engineers to identify and revise enterprise reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and database environment issues in coordination with DBAs and Systems Engineers.
• Evaluate, test, and implement software upgrades and assess the impact of production system changes.

Required Skills

• 12 years of experience with Relational Databases and SQL Programming.
• 8 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or above).
• 5 years of experience with Columnar Databases or columnar storage.
• 5 years of experience with Pentaho BI Suite, PDI ETL, and Pentaho Analytics/Reporting.
• 5 years of experience with Data Warehousing.
• 4 years of experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft Excel, and Data Modelling.
• 2 years of experience with SQL Server Analysis Services and Microsoft Visio.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Access.
• Proven ability to translate logical models into physical implementation and track records in entity relationship and dimensional modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2018/2020, Client Vertica, or Amazon Redshift.
• Proficiency with Business Objects, Cognos, Team Foundation Server, ERwin, or TOAD for Oracle.
