Description

You will lead the technical development of business intelligence reports and analysis while mentoring the team through complex analytical problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of BI reports, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting for the analysis team.
• Manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, subscriptions, and metadata.
• Collaborate with Data Warehouse Engineers to identify and revise enterprise reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot reporting and database environment issues in coordination with DBAs and Systems Engineers.
• Assess the impact of production system updates and implement necessary changes to reports.
• Conduct end-user training on reporting systems and assist with data normalization initiatives.

Required Skills

• 12 years of SQL Programming and Relational Database knowledge.
• 8 years of Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or above).
• 5 years of Data Warehousing and Columnar Databases or columnar storage.
• 5 years of Pentaho BI Suite, PDI ETL, and Pentaho Analytics/Reporting.
• 4 years of SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services, Data Modelling, and Microsoft Excel.
• 2 years of SQL Server Analysis Services and Microsoft Visio.
• 1 year of Microsoft Access.
• Experience with DataStage, Informatica, or Pentaho.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft SQL Server 2018/2020.
• HP Vertica and Amazon Redshift.
• Pentaho BI Suite.
