Senior Business Systems Analyst

Lead technical research, requirements gathering, and project execution to optimize business processes and technology stacks in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical research, intelligence gathering, and market studies to identify new technology opportunities.
• Draft functional and non-functional specifications, workflows, and technical requirements.
• Execute software pilots, prototypes, and proof of concepts (POCs/POTs) with cross-functional teams.
• Manage full project lifecycles, tracking scope, schedule, budget, and inter-project dependencies.
• Mitigate risks and communicate regular project status to stakeholders and governance groups.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in the technology industry, specifically in application development, infrastructure, or architecture.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, SCRUM Master, or Product Manager.
• Experience managing vendor procurement for staffing, licenses, tools, and consulting services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, including forecasting and variance reporting.
• Strong ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences through written, verbal, and presentation formats.
• Expertise in stakeholder management and cross-functional partnering.
• Experience navigating the full software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Financial Services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Fintech technologies, including Machine Learning, AI, Data Analytics, and various application development languages.
• Experience with Cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
