Description

You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analyzing system capabilities and defining functional specifications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current state system capabilities and recommend technology solution options in collaboration with architects and designers.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including non-functional requirements and user stories.
• Support testing teams by converting requirements and use cases into test conditions for UAT, performance, and operational acceptance.
• Manage project activities including scoping, effort estimation, risk identification, and status communication.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess impact on existing processes and manage system integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis or a related technical role.
• Expertise in requirements elicitation and creating detailed user stories and system requirements.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and the Project Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC).
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Working knowledge of APIs, including REST API requests/responses, JSON, and Postman.
• Ability to create System Context Diagrams, Flow/Sequence Diagrams, and Use Case documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Visio.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Relational Databases (SQL), Mainframe (IMS, TSO, COBOL), or Object-Oriented Programming (Java/J2EE, C++, Python).
• Knowledge of Savings and Investing products or FinTech SaaS integrations.
