You will manage the technical and functional requirements for debit and credit card operations systems.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements for card operations through collaboration with stakeholders, product managers, and IT teams.
- Document functional and technical specifications for debit and credit card systems.
- Liaise between business and technology teams to align workflows and deliverables.
- Partner with payment network providers including Visa, Plus, Star, and Moneypay, and vendors such as FIS and TSYS.
- Support the end-to-end transaction processing lifecycle, covering settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, fraud detection, and dispute management.
- Participate in system configuration, testing, and validation to ensure accuracy and compliance with PCI-DSS and banking regulations.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
- Deep expertise in Card Operations (Debit/Credit).
- Hands-on experience with Visa, Plus, Star, and Moneypay payment networks.
- Strong experience with FIS and TSYS global payment products.
- In-depth knowledge of authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and disputes.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical specifications for development and QA teams.
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with core banking platforms and card system integrations.
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS, NACHA, and FFIEC regulatory compliance.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills for transaction and data validation.
- Prior experience in large-scale card system migration or modernization projects.
