Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical and product managers in evaluating software application requirements.
• Develop detailed specifications and provide accurate project task estimates.
• Design, code, and unit test application components.
• Maintain and modify existing software applications across periodic releases.
• Document applications for technical white papers, user guides, and operations guides.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of development experience using C/C++ on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience developing multi-threaded applications.
• Working knowledge of Java and Python.
• Experience with complex systems debugging, including GDB and Valgrind.
• Proficiency with Source Control Management (Git, SVN, CVS).
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of TCP and Multicast networking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Support production problems and deployments outside of normal working hours.
