Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications on UNIX-based platforms, owning the full lifecycle from coding to release management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable C++ code for mission-critical systems.
• Develop and optimize UNIX Shell scripts (Bash, Korn, POSIX) for automation and operational tasks.
• Implement cryptographic solutions and integrate Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) using PKCS#11 and vendor APIs.
• Support secure key management, including generation, storage, rotation, and digital signing.
• Collaborate with architecture and security teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on C++ application development in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Strong proficiency in UNIX systems programming concepts.
• Extensive experience with Shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, or POSIX Shell).
• Deep knowledge of cryptography principles, encryption algorithms, and key management practices.
• Experience integrating HSMs (e.g., Thales SafeNet, Utimaco) via PKCS#11, Microsoft CNG, or vendor-specific APIs.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and operational risk management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in structured delivery environments with formal testing and release processes.
