Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications, owning the full lifecycle from subsystem design reviews to release. You will collaborate with System Architects, Product Analysts, QA, and PMO teams to deliver robust distributed computing solutions on UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows.

You will own the release pipeline and ensure code quality through rigorous testing and analytical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex C++ modules with a focus on templates and multithreading.
• Collaborate with System Architects to review and approve program and subsystem designs.
• Develop and maintain applications using AMQ, Oracle, and SQL-based relational databases.
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies alongside cross-functional teams including QA, UAT, and Product Analysts.
• Debug and resolve issues in distributed computing environments across UNIX/Linux and Windows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience with C++.
• Deep expertise in C++ Templates and Multithreading.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows distributed computing.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in Oracle, AMQ, and SQL.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Securities, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Basic proficiency in Java, JDBC, JPA/Hibernate, and IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA.
• Familiarity with Unix Shell scripting, XML, Web Services, and issue management systems.
