Description

You will design and build low-latency C++ systems for financial trading infrastructure in Montreal.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize low-latency components including order gateways and market data systems.
• Own the full development lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and performance tuning.
• Partner with trading teams to translate requirements into high-performance, resilient solutions.
• Implement robust testing, monitoring, and validation frameworks to ensure system uptime.
• Provide Level 2 production support, troubleshoot issues, and mentor developers.

Required Skills

• Expert-level C++ development in Linux environments.
• 5+ years of experience building mission-critical, high-performance systems.
• Deep understanding of multithreading, networking concepts, and performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, and automated testing practices.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building low-latency electronic trading platforms.
• Knowledge of exchange connectivity protocols and financial data formats.
