Description

Build and optimize systems for the end-to-end market data lifecycle, covering acquisition, normalization, distribution, and archiving.

Responsibilities

• Improve systems and processes supporting market data acquisition, control, and archiving.
• Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to handle large data volumes with minimal latency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to onboard new data feeds and resolve ongoing issues.
• Implement data quality standards and monitor integrity to address discrepancies promptly.
• Oversee integration of market data with trading platforms, analytics tools, and reporting systems.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, WebApi, and creating REST Web Services.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous mechanisms in modern .NET development.
• Experience building APIs and working with MS SQL databases.
• Practical experience with Git source code management.
• Ability to write extensive unit tests using automated TDD.
• Experience creating configuration, build, and test scripts for CI environments.
• Commitment to clean coding practices, including SOLID principles and continuous refactoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial market data management.
• Exposure to gRPC binary protocol and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerized deployments using Docker or OpenShift.
