Description

Design and develop IoT-connected Linux applications using C++ and Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Linux applications using C++, Python, and the Qt/QML framework.
• Integrate applications with the Linux operating system using system libraries, APIs, and services.
• Resolve complex technical issues to ensure application performance and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through code reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Create technical documentation including design specifications, software requirements, and user manuals.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C++11 (or later) with strong knowledge of OOP and memory management.
• Experience with Python programming.
• In-depth knowledge of the Linux operating system, system administration, and shell scripting.
• Expertise in developing graphical user interfaces with Qt and QML.
• Experience with network communication standards: BSD sockets, HTTP, JSON, XML, and MQTT.
• Ability to design scalable, modular application architectures.
• Familiarity with JIRA and GitLab.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with build systems using Docker and CMake.
