Description

You will design, implement, and maintain C# .NET APIs and services while driving continuous improvement through testing and refactoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and write C# code and tests for new Maestro API features, driving continuous improvement.
• Review team code, advising on design and development improvements.
• Collaborate with end-users, BAs, and QA to plan user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Lead or contribute to planning meetings to size and refine user stories.
• Support live systems and resolve production issues within appropriate time zones.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET (Framework 4.x or Core/Standard).
• 8+ years in automated testing (unit, functional) using NUnit, xUnit, Specflow, or Playwright.
• Deep experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile practices (XP).
• Ability to design systems using object-oriented and event-driven approaches within Domain-Driven Design.
• Strong engineering discipline utilizing version control with git.
• Expertise in developing RESTful APIs, including OAuth 2.0 integration.
• Experience with an ORM, specifically Fluent NHibernate or Entity Framework, and LINQ.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MassTransit and RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Azure services, DevOps, or Azure PaaS offerings.
