Description

Architect and develop TV OS software for next-generation platforms, owning HDMI, EDID, and CEC features while managing sustenance engineering for Linux-based operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain hardware abstraction layers for upcoming TV platforms.
• Analyze and debug HDMI bus communication protocols including CEC, ARC/eARC, and HDCP.
• Manage bug fixes and improvements for existing Linux-based operating systems.
• Implement HDMI CEC system bring-up processes and multi-hardware configuration schemes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with C, C++ 17/20, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Deep knowledge of HDMI, EDID structure, and CEC protocol specifications, including AV infoframes and ARC/eARC.
• Proficiency with Clang toolchain, CMake, and Python.
• Experience with CTA and VESA standards.
• Knowledge of Linux subsystems including D-Bus, HIDRAW, Glib, gdbus, and gdb.
• Hands-on experience with Git, input event drivers, and Bluetooth Linux Host (BlueZ) in user and kernel space.
• In-depth understanding of display information technology and gaming features.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing internal and external display configurations across multi-device TV setups.
