Description

You will design and build embedded software for set-top boxes, smart TVs, and IoT gateways using C++ and Embedded C.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded Linux applications using C++11/14/17 and Embedded C.
• Implement multithreading, synchronization, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) for embedded devices.
• Debug performance bottlenecks and analyze system behavior using Linux internals and kernel concepts.
• Build and configure embedded environments using Yocto, Buildroot, or similar toolchains.
• Collaborate on device driver integration and file system optimizations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with C++ (C++11/14/17) and Embedded C.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto, Buildroot, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Linux internals, kernel concepts, device drivers, and file systems.
• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, sockets, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Background in embedded devices such as set-top boxes, IPTV/OTT platforms, smart TVs, DVRs, routers, or IoT gateways.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong debugging and performance analysis skills.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of tenure in similar embedded roles.
• Experience with specific hardware platforms for set-top boxes or smart TVs.
