Description

You will create 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical and electromechanical vehicle systems, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and manufacturing constraints.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for vehicle interiors, exteriors, chassis, powertrain, or electrical systems.
• Apply GD&T, conduct tolerance analysis, and ensure designs comply with ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement DFM and DFA best practices.
• Manage CAD data using PLM tools such as Windchill or Teamcenter.
• Revise designs based on prototyping, testing, and validation feedback.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of CAD design experience in the motor vehicle or automotive industry.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6, NX, Creo, or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, BOM structures, and engineering change management.
• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes including injection molding, casting, sheet metal, and machining.
• Ability to manage data within PLM environments.
• Coordinate with suppliers for technical inputs and manufacturability analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related technical field.
