Description

You will own the architecture and modernization of large-scale semiconductor design infrastructure across global datacenters.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain mechanisms for coordinating large-scale semiconductor design tasks across multiple global datacenters.
• Own the architecture of platform components, defining interfaces, data models, and service boundaries that scale and evolve.
• Lead the modernization of legacy Perl and Python backends by proposing migration strategies and driving execution.
• Debug and improve production services spanning web browsers, containerized microservices, and bare-metal Linux hosts.
• Build web interfaces to configure, launch, and analyze EDA tools, while mining job execution telemetry to catch regressions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Perl.
• Comfort with JavaScript and web technologies.
• Experience with distributed systems at meaningful scale.
• Proven ability to lead projects from requirement solicitation through architecture, implementation, and maintenance.
• Ability to own and debug Linux-based production services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with workflow orchestration systems (Airflow, Argo, Temporal, Luigi) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kibana, or relational/NoSQL datastores.
