Description

You will manage and optimize Apache Cassandra clusters for high availability, performance, and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient Cassandra data models to optimize storage and retrieval.
• Deploy and maintain Cassandra clusters on AWS using EC2, S3, and AWS Keyspaces.
• Implement backup, restoration, and disaster recovery strategies to maintain data integrity.
• Monitor cluster performance using Dynatrace to proactively resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Cassandra with external systems and applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database management or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra cluster management.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, S3, and Keyspaces.
• Experience using Dynatrace for performance monitoring and analysis.
• Ability to design and optimize data models for read/write performance.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup implementation.
